Wedding in Evia Island Greece

The wedding of Mitra Wicks founding editor of and Samira, came from London UK to have their dream wedding lgbtq on the island of Evia in Greece.

As Mitra is half Iranian and Samira is from Morocco, they felt it was important to incorporate their cultural traditions in this special day of which they are very proud of. The couple decided on creating a beautiful Sofreh Aghd with Moroccan influences for their romantic wedding day.

The concept of the Iranian Sofreh Aghd is a tradition with over 2500 years of history. The Sofreh is a large beautiful piece of cloth adorned with traditional symbolic items.
