The Christening of Manto Gasteratou’s Son
A day filled with light, emotion, and well-known faces
There are days that are bright not just because of the sun—but because of the atmosphere, the people, and the feelings they carry. The christening of little Christos, the son of Manto Gasteratou and Nikos Isigonis, was exactly that kind of day.
The ceremony took place at the Holy Trinity Church in Ekali, with close family friend and journalist Haris Chronopoulos as godfather. Among the guests were beloved figures from the world of television and entertainment, including Maria Georgakaina, Tina Mela, and other well-known friends of the couple, adding a special spark to the occasion.
The reception that followed was a dreamy setting inspired by a forest animal theme, complete with earthy tones, wooden details, and a charming rustic aesthetic. Children played freely on the grass, surrounded by soft pillows and natural decor, while parents enjoyed a relaxed, summery ambiance. The decoration and christening details were beautifully curated by Faidra Theodoridou from Bridal Loft Athens.
As a christening photographer, I always seek the truth in the light. On this day, everything felt real—warm embraces, spontaneous smiles, quiet emotional moments between friends and family. It was one of those events where the images spoke for themselves.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of photographing intimate moments for many well-known personalities—such as professional basketball player Lukas Lekavicius, the granddaughter of Angela Dimitriou, singer Christos Antoniadis, actor Thanasis Tsaltabasis, and many more who have trusted me with their most personal memories.
Every christening is unique. And when there’s genuine emotion behind the image, the result isn’t just a photo—it’s a memory that lasts.
If you’re planning your child’s christening and looking for a photographer who approaches each event with sensitivity, experience, and a keen eye for authentic moments, I’d be honored to be part of your special day.
